Remember the days when breakfast meant plowing face-first into a bowl of brightly coloured marshmallows and sugar?

It was a magical time when your parents thought it was okay because the box vaguely mentioned whole grains. Those days are long gone now that we know the truth behind the cartoon characters’ secrets and lies, but does that mean the grown-up looking boxes boasting extra-protein this or high-fibre that are any better for you? And if they are, do they even taste good? Here at IFM, we decided to take one for the team and test out some of the healthy and not-so-healthy cereals out there to find a harmonious unity between taste and nutrition.
